Summer has arrived in the Pacific Northwest. I’ve been dedicating myself to movement meditation, meaning getting out and doing things mindfully and with a Self Care Cocktail in hand. Yes, those are real, the ingredients are anything that nourishes you.
What ingredients are in your personal Self Care Cocktail?
It feels so good to have a summer of less tension, busy days and demanding schedule. Last summer was a taxing time for me emotionally and physically. I was working on three separate business ideas and taking time to care for my Mom.
Some of you are on my Sip, Savor & Surrender Meditation email list and know about this journey. Other’s of you may want to join in at a later date.
I’ll keep you posted.
The meditation series came about after her passing, as a way to heal and move forward. This and playing the piano, which I recently decided is not my instrument of choice. I learned lot about myself; playing continued the healing, but I am happy to be passing the piano onto my niece next week.
With all of this in mind I also decided to take a break from creating this series. Not because I don’t like the idea of it, I LOVE it!  But, I am taking some time to dive into learning more about creating the meditations themselves and the tech aspects to go with it. After that I will reemerge and give you a new set of meditations, with deeper meaning and less homemade goodness!
Have you ever just done something because it felt so right to do, even if you had no idea what you were doing? I have! Thank you for being a part of my, I don’t quite know what I’m doing, journey.
I truly thank you from the bottom of my healing heart. My XO count for you is high.
I’m in a much better place now. There are times when I wish i could give my Mom a call or just spend more time with her. Life is giving me what I need, despite the ups and downs.
Here is the first meditation I ever recorded. It came with a little video too. I made this late November, hence the holiday references. Click HERE for that. Eek! Vulnerability is stirring as I write this…
Here is my personal favorite about LOVE.
